For several years, I supported the custom php-centric website. That's done. The client chose a content management system and completely recreated the site with a new style and new hosting technology (now it is ASP). I supported the transition with the development of "advanced" components. I was responsible for ensuring that the new system met the design requirements - working with html templates using CSS style and placement elements.
